PREARRANGEMENT
There are many reasons to preplan funeral arrangements. When the loss of a loved one occurs, most families find themselves unprepared to handle the costs and decisions that need to be made. Look at some of the major benefits of prearrangement:
- Togetherness
A husband and wife can share in the decisions together.
- Satisfaction
When family members select burial estate and/or funeral merchandise, everyone's satisfaction is guaranteed.
- Price Freezing
With the rising costs of cemetery and funeral expenses you can freeze today's prices with prearrangement.
- Conserve Insurance
Most life insurance plans allow a family time to adjust to the loss of income that death causes. Help your loved one conserve insurance proceeds with prepayment.
- Peace of Mind
Give your family peace of mind by removing the burden of funeral expenses and decisions for them.
CREMATION
Cremation is one alternative to traditional burial that many families choose. At Toppitzer Funeral Home and Arlington Cemetery we understand the importance for families to have options for their loved ones. Here are some of the services we offer:
- Traditional viewings prior to cremation
- In ground cremation burial
We have two designated cremation areas to choose from.
- Above ground cremation niches
Our public mausoleums have niches available both inside and outside.
- Cremation urns
Choose from a variety of styles and colors.
- Complete cremation planning
We can assist with all of your needs.
HORSE DRAWN HEARSE
Toppitzer Funeral Home uses a replica of an 18th century horse drawn hearse upon request for funeral processions. The original horse drawn hearse can be seen in the Museum of Mourning Art located within the Mount Vernon office.
